How many guests can Villa Aura del Lago accommodate?
The villa sleeps up to 16 guests: the 7 bedrooms (four queen, three twin) host 14, plus the private Suite (available on request) for 2 more. For weddings and private events, the property can host gatherings of up to 100 guests.
How many bedrooms and bathrooms are there?
The villa spans 700 sqm across three floors with a lift: 7 bedrooms plus a separate Suite, and 10 bathrooms plus 2 further half-baths. The ground floor has living, dining and recreational spaces, a kitchen, a laundry room and three bathrooms; the first floor holds the 7 bedrooms and a lake-view study; the second floor houses the Suite, a billiard and games room, a gym and a sauna.
Can the villa be rented for a wedding? How many guests can it host?
Yes, weddings and private celebrations are welcome for up to 100 guests. The property includes a 17x6m tent with fairy lights; catering, music and (if needed) fireworks are arranged through agencies pre-approved by the Company. The games room, sauna and gym are off-limits during events, outdoor music must move indoors after 9:30 PM, and events must end by 1:00 AM.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed inside or on the grounds. An exception may be granted in writing by the Company upon request.
What is the cancellation policy?
A 30% deposit confirms the booking and is non-refundable upon cancellation. Cancelling after the balance is paid but more than 30 days before arrival carries a 50% penalty; cancelling less than 30 days before arrival carries a 70% penalty. Changing the dates of a confirmed booking is treated as a cancellation under these same terms.
How far is the villa from Bellagio, Milan and the airports?
The villa is about 4 km from Bellagio (Centro Lago). Malpensa Airport is 87 km away, Linate Airport 69 km, and Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport 57 km.
Is there private access to the lake?
Yes — 200 metres of private waterfront with a private jetty. The lake and pool areas are unsupervised and without barriers, so guests (especially children) should always be accompanied.
Is the villa available year-round, and is there a minimum stay?
The minimum stay is 3 nights. In high season the villa is rented by the week, Saturday to Saturday; other stay lengths can be arranged directly with us, subject to availability.
How do I make a booking?
Contact us via the booking page with your dates and guest numbers. A 30% deposit plus a €1,000 refundable security deposit confirms the reservation; the remaining 70% is due 60 days before arrival (or the full amount within 72 hours, if booking less than 60 days before arrival).
Can corporate events be organised at the villa?
Yes. Corporate events and meetings follow the same Event rules as weddings for gatherings over 16 guests (tent, approved catering agency, event-hour limits). The villa offers Wi-Fi, workstations and satellite TV, plus ground-floor and garden spaces for meetings, product shoots and corporate dining.
